I just got my Threadless tees in the mail! The Overcompensating one is printed on an American Apparel shirt and their medium is a little on the small side for me, but the Gay Pride shirt is printed on a Threadless tee and fits perfectly. We’ll see how they are after a washing. I may just hang them up to dry to avoid any shrinking.

Interesting sales

Woot, a website that offers one great deal a day, was aquired by Amazon yesterday. In honor of their new bosses, they are offering the Kindle for $149.99. That’s $40 less than it’s selling at Amazon right now and $130 more than an actual book. Their sales pitch is amusing:

Yeah, yeah, that’s the real price for a real Kindle. It’s not a typo or a knockoff or some Russian credit-card scam – just a Woot exclusive deal. But, y’know, hurry it up, willya?

We’re kind of, shall we say, operating in a grey area here so the quicker we get this deal done, the better for everybody, OK? No muss, no fuss, that’s what we always say. Well, when we’re not saying “What seems to be the trouble, officer?”

Also, Threadless is selling their shirts for $10 and shipping is $5. I don’t know how long it will last, so I went ahead and bought two that I’ve been eyeing: Gay Pride and Overcompensating.
